Wellingford Amateur Dramatic Society are holding a New Year's Eve party to give out their first ever annual awards. In decades past, the group has received many accolades and several members have gone on to become professional actors. However, recent years have seen something of a decline. Whilst the group's heyday may have passed, it is hoped that giving out awards will help rejuvenate this once-proud organisation. There are some who welcome this attempt to revive WADS's fortunes, but there are many who believe that this is a divisive and patronising waste of time. With controversy regarding the nature of the event competing with the hullabaloo over who will win awards, it appears that the last thing this will be is a quiet night out...

Hi, I just wanted to say that we had such a great night! The actors were brilliant, the hotel and food was lovely. We really enjoyed ourselves.
Just got back from the Blood Relations murder mystery weekend at Whateley Hall Hotel in Banbury and just had to e-mail you to say how much I enjoyed it! Have been to a few Killing Game weekends now and they've all been really good but this was the best yet! Great plot, really hard to fathom and all the actors were fantastic. Hotel and staff were all lovely too - great choice. Well done Killing Game!
Have just returned from Banbury and the Whately Hotel, where your actors played the Blood Relations plot brilliantly! This I think was the best weekend so far, as they kept us twisting and turning until you questioned every solution you came to! Well done to you and to the cast. I look forward to the next one! The weekends are always great value for money. Well done!
