Cisswood House is one of England's most established and well recognised country house hotels, built in 1928 for the then Chairman of Harrods Sir Woodman Burbidge & his wife Cissilly. The hotel is located in the Sussex Countryside just a short distance from the historic market town of Horsham and just 30 minutes' drive from Brighton.

Since the hotel was built in 1928 there have been many stories of ghosts and possible sightings have been reported since this time. The old, original part of the house remains a mystery with a 'presence' being felt in some places, including the Library. This is currently used for staff meetings, but the staff aren't so keen!
